Preliminary tests at UNI KASSEL were a success.

Proff. Steinhoff’s “Hot Forming” simulator has proven that indeed the new tool steel developed by ROVALMA allows reducing a 50% the cycle time in “Hot Forming” of martensitic sheets. These results are in total agreement with the tryouts performed in ROVALMA with technical people from VW and SEAT, where the new tool steel was tried with a cycle time of 10sec (3,5 seconds closure time) until stationary regime was met. The mechanical characteristics of the pieces produced were optimal.

November 27 2006-2d General Assembly Forma0 that he/she was carried out in AIN, Association of the Navarrese Industry in Pamplona.

In this Assembly it was the general state of the project, the advances attacked in the 2006 and to establish the action lines for the 2007.

CENIT "Forma-0" project , has been approved.
In the first convocation of the programs CENIT for the development of big investigation projects our has been approved "Forma-0" with a budget around the 30 million €. The project will be good to develop new steels of tools and coatings for the different operations of having conformed of foils of high and very high limit so much in cold as in hot.
